Our team is currently looking for an experienced Tig and MIG Welder to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service.

This is a fabulous opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking welder to apply his or her skills in our production facility located in Northeast Philadelphia. In this role, the successful candidate will work in coordination with the shop supervisor and other senior management to ensure that all manufacturing equipment is fit and welded to the specifications of each job and meets outlined requirements. What you Offer:

Extensive knowledge in TIG/MIG welding and fabrication . Strong ability and in-depth knowledge of common welding processes, uses of jigs, fixtures and other template equipment, physical dexterity for welding and fabrication processes and blueprint interpretation.

Competent inspection of weld joints, welding processes, and the ability to be proficient in most areas of general welding fabrication including:

Job Requirements:

TIG, MIG, and STICK welding processes

Trailer and Tractor Fabrication

Sanitary welds

Bridge port

Lath welds

Drill press

CNC welding

Welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

Operating safety equipment and using safe work habits.

Minimum Requirements

Work Environment:

• Fast paced work environment in and around industrial machinery.
• Cold storage environment. Production rooms are kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below in certain areas). Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time.
• Noise level varies and at times and can be loud.

Physical requirements :

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Capability to stand in one place for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day)
• Capability to walk throughout department for 20% of the shift (8+ hours per day)
• Capability to lift to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis with reasonable accommodation.
• Requires the frequent use of both hands and arms
• Capability to bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day)
• Must be able to work in a Safety Sensitive Position.
