Position: Seasonal or Full-Time Tax Preparer
CBI Accounting & Tax is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. We are a professional and friendly accounting firm serving individuals and small businesses throughout Macomb County.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Review client financial documents and ensure compliance with IRS and state regulations
- Communicate with clients regarding tax information and filing status
- Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent client service
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience preparing taxes
- Proficiency with UltraTax software a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- EA, CPA, or AFSP credentials a plus
Schedule & Pay:
- Flexible hours during tax season (part-time or full-time)
- Competitive pay based on experience
