Shift Supervisor – Film Extrusion (1st Shift)
📍 Carol Stream, IL (moving to a new Bartlett facility)
🕒 Direct Hire | 💲 $29–$34/hr + OT
⏰ 5:00 AM–5:00 PM | 4 days one week / 3 days the next (built-in OT)
We’re hiring a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead film extrusion operations during an exciting facility expansion. This is a floor-level leadership role with strong growth potential as the team transitions into a brand-new plant with new equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily film extrusion operations (extruders, winders, haul-offs)
- Supervise operators and maintenance support
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
- Coordinate changeovers and production schedules
- Drive safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Coach and develop team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years in plastic film extrusion
- 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
