Job Description
Position Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of various commercial construction projects, including light industrial construction, hospitality, office buildings, retail, and medical offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the construction industry and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
- Ensure project goals and objectives are met within the established timelines and budget
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, including procurement, scheduling, and quality control
- Oversee and supervise project team members, including contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure project progress and quality standards
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project plans and specifications are accurate and feasible
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial construction
- Experience with various project management software and tools
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working with diverse project teams and stakeholders
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing project demands and timelines
- PMP certification is a plus
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
