This position reports directly to the Executive Director and plays a key role in ensuring our operations and events run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As our Operations & Events Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our team, keeping operations smooth and ensuring memorable events for students, families, and donors.

Operations & Administration

  • Manage organizational systems and data integrity in Google Workspace and our CRM (GoHighLevel).
  • Support budget tracking and credit card reconciliation with the Business Manager.
  • Oversee file management (marketing, signed contracts, donor and grant data).

Events & Programming

  • Coordinate summer program events.

Development & Donor Support

  • Support donor engagement through newsletters, thank-you letters, and recognition gifts.
  • Assist at donor presentations and fundraising events.

Future Leadership Opportunity

  • May supervise a part-time Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Provide guidance to high school student interns (Corporate Work Study).

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organizational and project management skills (experience with Trello or other tools a plus).
  • Experience in event planning, operations, or nonprofit/education administration.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Experience with data systems and CRM platforms (GoHighLevel preferred).
  • Understanding of first-generation college student experiences strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English highly desirable.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for events when needed.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $52,000–$54,000 annually
  • Health and wellness benefits (if applicable, list here: e.g., medical, dental, vision)
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development opportunities

Why Join LIT?
