Dvora Life is looking to hire a Live-in Building Superintendent for a few luxury High Rise Buildings, in Downtown Jersey City. This position offers an apartment in the building

Job Summary:

The Building Superintendent will be responsible for supervising the building, conduct site and unit inspections, coordinate contractors/vendors, execute a preventive maintenance program and purchase materials.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Hands-on ability to maintain building mechanical systems and fire systems
• Respond to emergency calls
• Responsible for repairs and maintenance in common areas and building exteriors
• Orient and train employees to perform maintenance activities and tasks
• Maintain a high quality of workmanship by staff and service providers
• Implement preventative maintenance program
• Maintain either daily, weekly or monthly inspection logs on mechanicals’ & equipment
• Inventory control and preparing itemized lists for management’s approval and ordering of common supplies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent client service and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a luxury high rise building
• Strong working knowledge of building systems
• Strong verbal, written & business communication skills
• Strong management skills
• Experience with apartment renovations

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary $70,000- $80,000
