Position Overview

The Senior Kyriba / Treasury Consultant is a client-facing leader responsible for guiding end-to-end delivery of Kyriba implementations and treasury solutions. This role leads discovery workshops, defines solution design, and drives execution across Cash Management, Bank Connectivity, Payments, and Reporting. Senior Consultants shape client decisions, oversee build and testing, and ensure smooth cutover and stabilization.

Key Objectives & Success Deliverables

30-Days

• Establish project plan and RACI ownership.
• Align workshop schedule and discovery scope.
• Confirm bank/file matrix and integration inventory.
• Stand up RAID log and decision log .

3-Months

• Secure design sign-offs across Cash Management, Connectivity, Payments, and Reporting.
• Supervise build activities and validate configuration.
• Guide bank setup, validate statement imports, and confirm SFTP/API connections.
• Publish a structured client training plan.

6-Months

• Lead UAT readiness; triage and resolve defects.
• Finalize and validate cutover plan, including controls and audit evidence.
• Stabilize bank connections under agreed SLAs.

12-Months

• Deliver production stabilization with adoption KPIs met.
• Implement continuous improvement backlog.
• Document reusable playbooks, templates, and best practices.

Core Functions & Abilities

1. Deliver Kyriba solution design and depth across Cash, Connectivity, Payments, and Reporting.
2. Manage integrations and file mapping, including troubleshooting statement, payment, and reporting files.
3. Facilitate executive-level workshops and decision-driving sessions with clear documentation.
4. Ensure project hygiene through ownership, closure, and disciplined documentation.

Challenges & How to Overcome Them

• Bank lead-times and format quirks: Maintain a bank matrix, parallelize testing, escalate delays early.
• Cross-time-zone training needs: Use structured handoffs, recorded sessions, and published runbooks.
• Stakeholder indecision: Provide options, trade-offs, and enforce timeboxed decisions.
• Complex IT dependencies: Align early with client IT and banks, define cutover checkpoints clearly.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of Treasury and TMS experience (Kyriba strongly preferred).
• Kyriba Certified (required).
• Knowledge of standard bank statement formats and global payment standards.
• Working knowledge of SFTP/API and Kyriba Data Exchange.
• Proven experience in client-facing facilitation and executive-level communication.
• Hands-on issue triage, defect management, and disciplined project hygiene.

Preferred Skills

• Bank Fee Analysis.
• Liquidity Planner.
• General Ledger Reconciliation.
• Payment Factory experience.
• Onboarding large US banks (e.g., JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America).
