Our nonprofit client in New York City is looking to hire a Gift Processing Coordinator.
This role is responsible for processing and recording donations using Raiser’s Edge. You’ll handle contributions received through various channels including checks, wires, online platforms like Classy, mail, lockbox, Benevity, EventBrite, and internal requests.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update donor records in Raiser’s Edge by creating new profiles and editing existing ones
• Work closely with the Development and Raiser’s Edge teams to ensure donations are properly allocated
• Coordinate with the Payroll Administrator to manage employee payroll deductions designated as donations
• Follow up with regional and national offices to collect any missing donation information
• Make corrections to gift entries when needed and organize related documentation for the Finance team
• Assist in reviewing outstanding pledges and updating records accordingly
• File gift-related documents using PaperSave and internal filing systems
• Support the Development team in responding to donor questions about tax receipts and account details
• Contribute to regular reporting and assist with additional gift processing tasks as assigned
