Position: General Shop Laborer
Location: Kensington, Ohio
Pay: $18-25/hour plus benefits , based on skills and experience
Schedule: Full-time day shift (Mon–Thu) or (Mon-Fri)
Benefits: 1 week paid vacation after 90 day trial, healthcare/vision/dental, life insurance, disability insurance
The Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in doing a job right the first time. You’ll handle a mix of tasks — from finishing machined parts to building shipping boxes — and work closely with a small, skilled team to keep production moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
• Finish machined parts using grinding, filing, bead blasting, and other processes
• Build and prepare shipping boxes for completed kits
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Cut and prepare wood stock for production
• Assist with general shop duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good hand‑eye coordination for small, precise work
• Problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Prior woodworking, metalworking, or manufacturing experience a plus
Preferred Skills
• Bandsaw and other power tool experience
• Ability to solve problems using basic math
