ConnectHealth is seeking a board-certified Forensic Pathologist for locum tenens coverage to support ongoing clinical and forensic pathology services in Reading, PA. This position is scheduled clinical hours only with no call responsibilities and a broad anatomic and clinical pathology scope.
- Inpatient-only hospital environment
- Level I Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
- No admissions, no rounding, no APP supervision required
Clinical Responsibilities
- Anatomic and clinical pathology services
- Surgical pathology, including GI, GU, dermatopathology, and neuropathology
- Cytology (GYN and non-GYN)
- Hematopathology, including bone marrow aspiration and biopsy interpretation
- Performance of FNAs and frozen sections
- Autopsies, including both forensic and non-forensic cases
- House and coroner autopsies performed onsite
- Case volume varies based on county forensic activity
Schedule & Coverage
- Scheduled clinical hours only (no call)
- Coverage dates include:
- May 17–23, 2026
- June 8–28, 2026
- One week in October 2026 (TBD)
- Providers must specify which dates they are available to cover
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Pathology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license required (PA-only)
