Field Installation and Service Technician

We are currently seeking a Field Installation & Service Technician professional to service parts of California. Candidates that have worked in the Automotive industry have performed well. Also, individuals that have come from home improvements, security/alarm and HVAC industries are qualified. If you have any Field Service type experience, we will train you!

Location Fairfield, CA

Key Deliverables

• Install and service Stannah Stairlifts to meet national and local standards and in line with the company’s policies.
• Ensure that the customer or stairlift user has a full and thorough understanding of the operation of the stairlift at the time of handover.
• Report all installation and service faults on the appropriate service sheet.
• Ensure that service vehicles are stocked with the appropriate spare parts and all parts are booked out of the warehouse.
• Represent the company responsibly, maintain confidentiality and always be polite and patient with our customers.
• Personal appearance should project a professional image.
• Always maintain company equipment, tools, vehicles and property in good working order and safe condition.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl while performing job duties.

Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Monday to Friday
• On-Call Weekends as needed

Salary

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
