Job Description
The Executive Director, Finance is our KIKO Ambassador responsible for providing financial and strategic leadership to the EVP, Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team. This role will be the right hand of the MD and provide timely and accurate financial information for North America while fulfilling all reporting requirements from Head Office (Bergamo). This person will oversee all aspects of financial business planning and delivery.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the EVP, MD and Chief Financial Officer on the strategic(vision) plan Monitor, provide updates and, where necessary, alternative solutions on the implementation of strategic plans.
Develop and lead company's financial strategies
Work with the EVP, MD to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual requirements
Manage the accounting, tax, and treasury functions.
Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue and expenses including balance sheet reports, development, and monitoring of all budgets within the region
Work hand-in-hand with the Commercial (retail, wholesale) and Marketing teams on reports, controls, analysis, and advice, in order to achieve the financial objectives established. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization
Preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts explaining deviations vs actuals.
Ensure accurate submission to head-office of financial report packages
Review and approve all Month End Tax and Performance Reports.
Report financial results to the EVP.MD & CFO and the Executive Management team.
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile Analyze the organization's liabilities and investments.
Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
Monitor banking activities of the organization.
Lead relationship with the parent company (KIKO S.p.A) and external auditors, tax, and legal advisors.

REQUIREMENTS
~ A background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering with a minimum of 15 years' experience required, MBA preferred. Advantageous to have experience in Retail Industry or similar consumer goods category with a strong working knowledge of SAP.
