We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the design, build, and management of a high-performance broadband network. You will oversee infrastructure operations, ensuring all systems run securely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who can manage teams, set strategic goals, develop budgets, and oversee projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of designing and building network infrastructure.
• Prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget.
• Develop strategies for future projects aligned with company objectives and available resources.
• Provide operational and network strategy support in interactions with local and state government agencies.
• Manage engineering projects end-to-end, from planning to execution.
• Support applications for federal, state, and local funding programs related to broadband deployment.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance productivity and scalability.
• Drive company culture and strategy, focusing on achieving business goals such as increasing revenue, optimizing expenses, and fostering a skilled and diverse workforce.
• Create an environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications or broadband industry.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and deployment practices.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale network deployments.
• PE Certification preferred.
