Currently, Yellowstone Family Dental is currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for our office in Billings, MT!
Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepares treatment room for the patient.
- Prepares patient for hygiene treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating patients.
- Works the hygiene recall list to schedule patients for the follow-up exam.
- Provides instrumentation to the hygienist by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for hygienist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
- Documents dental care services by charting in patient records as directed by dentist or hygienist.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 2+ year of hygiene assisting experience required
- Ability to be a team-player and communicate effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary Range
- $18 - $23/hr based upon experience
