Role Summary: The Delivery Manager is a senior technical and strategic leader responsible for the successful delivery of complex solutions and the management of the regional Solutions Engineering team. This role involves overseeing multiple proof-of-concept (POC) projects, managing the full lifecycle of solution engineering delivery, and providing leadership and mentorship to Solutions Engineers (SEs). The Delivery Manager ensures the highest level of project execution through a deep understanding of client operations, solution methodology development, mission scheduling, and effective team leadership. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex situations across multiple departments and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a regional Solutions Engineering team, including participating in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
• Define and oversee high-caliber system implementations, including planning, defining use cases, mission scheduling, client-specific solutions, system installation, training, and transition to Support & Operations.
• Manage and execute top-tier, strategic, and highly complex POC projects, ensuring seamless internal coordination, adherence to process methodologies, and delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Act as a primary technical and strategic advisor to clients on assigned projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of their operations and aligning solutions with business objectives.
• Develop, implement, and refine solution engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices to optimize project delivery and ensure consistent quality.
• Oversee and mentor Solutions Engineers, providing guidance on complex projects, problem-solving, and best practices in project execution, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Lead risk management and mitigation efforts, proactively identifying potential issues, developing contingency plans, and ensuring projects remain on track.
• Serve as the primary interface with internal stakeholders (Account Management, R&D, Regulations, Product, and Operations) to ensure successful implementation, alignment with business goals, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive innovation and contribute to the evolution of Percepto’s product and service offerings through insights gained from project implementations and client feedback.
• Manage the delivery capability of project management (PM) within the Solutions Engineering team, ensuring excellence in execution, client experience, and process adherence.
• Oversee hardware solution prototyping and testing to support client needs and strategic sales opportunities.
• Support pre-sales engineering efforts by providing technical expertise, strategic input, and resource allocation for business development activities.
• Provide regular project status reports, delivery metrics, and presentations to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution engineering, project management, or a related technology field, with a track record of managing complex, high-stakes projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing an agile engineering team in a fast-paced and innovative environment
• PMP certification is preferred or expected to be obtained upon hiring.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to independently manage complex discussions, cross-functional coordination, and team dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience in building, managing, and mentoring Solutions Engineers, fostering professional growth, and ensuring high-quality project execution.
• Proven ability to develop and implement structured solution methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel up to 40% of the time to North and South America.
• Ability to work flexible, non-routine hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA Part 107 Pilot License.
• Experience with drone application development.
• Hands-on hardware-related technical skills (assembly, repair, etc.).
• Spanish language proficiency is an advantage.
