Job Description

Summary of Essential Functions for the Position:

Committed to Caring, the Customer Care Associate is responsible for professionally answering all incoming calls LIVE for the organization by the second ring, ensuring phone calls are transferred via intercom or page timely or transfer to voicemail if requested. This role is required to always demonstrate positive customer service. The Customer Care Associate will provide telephone training to new office staff in person and through Microsoft TEAMS. The Customer Care Associate will provide general office support to the Executive Management Team, Human Resources, and the Regional Vice Presidents of Operations in preparing memos, correspondence, and a variety of clerical activities and related tasks, ensuring confidentiality of work or task performed.

Qualifications / Licensure / Certification / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Location / Shift / Compensation:

  • One (1) year receptionist or customer service associate experience, preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, Home Care/Home Health, and/or Hospice preferred .
  • Requires the ability to exchange routine information in an appropriate manner requiring good oral and written communication skills.
  • Requires good interpersonal and excellent telephone etiquette skills.
  • Requires good organization skills, time management, customer relation skills, ability to multitask, and competent with computer applications required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must demonstrate good customer relations skills and a commitment to providing five-star customer excellence quality service.
  • Acceptance and ability to demonstrate and support the mission, core values and goals of Agency.
  • Proficient with computer and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance and reliable transportation for as needed business travels to post-office, pick-up business supplies, or other related business travels.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in Business Management preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Work environment can be busy and stressful due to busy phones, nature of the business, deadlines, multiple tasks and general compliance of law, rules, and regulations. Most of the day is spent sitting. The position requires visual acuity and dexterity, sitting, standing, some pushing, pulling, and lifting to 25 pounds. Must possess sight/hearing senses or appropriate adaptive devices that will enable to function at a level required to meet the essential functions of the position. Auto related accidents possible.

  • Monday-Friday (08:30AM-05:00PM)
